That wish to see more smiles and make people happy is why I chose the word “Smile” for my brand name.

I always aim to create photographs that honestly make me feel,
“I would love to have photos like this too.”

Since becoming a mother, I have become even more drawn to the connections between people and the beautiful atmosphere shared in each moment. I continue striving to express those feelings and emotions through my photography.

Rina studied photography in Tokyo while working for one of Japan’s largest toy companies, after previously studying product and textile design at Musashino Art University.

Her creative journey began through design and visual storytelling, always driven by a simple but strong belief: to create something that brings happiness and smiles to people.

In Japan, she worked in promotion and creative roles at a major toy company, while also gaining experience as a wedding photographer.

She moved to Australia in 2012 and started “Rina Smile Photography” in Melbourne. Since then, she has spent over a decade capturing love, families, friendships, milestones, and all the beautiful sparkling moments that make life meaningful.

Her motto is to bring happiness and smiles through everything she creates. Through photography and the experience of each photoshoot, she hopes not only to deliver beautiful images, but also to create warm memories and genuine joy.

Known for her gentle personality and relaxed approach, she creates a comfortable atmosphere where people can simply be themselves — even if they are not confident in front of the camera.
