"I want a couple photoshoot, but what's the difference between casual and pre-wedding?" This is a question we get asked often. Here's how we draw the line between the two.
線引きの基準は「ウェディングドレスを着るかどうか」
The Deciding Factor: Whether You Wear a Wedding Dress
カジュアルフォトとプレウェディングフォトの違いを、ウェディングドレスを着用するかどうかで分けています。
ウェディングドレス（フォーマルな長丈）を着用する → プレウェディング
ドレスを着ない、または私服・カジュアルなワンピースで撮影 → カジュアルフォト
長いトレーンのあるフォーマルなウェディングドレスは、裾さばきや、風でのなびきなど、撮影中にケアが必要な部分が多く、通常の私服撮影よりも手間と時間がかかります。
そのため、ドレスを着用する撮影はプレウェディングとして分類しています。
I distinguish between casual and pre-wedding photoshoots based on whether you're wearing a wedding dress.
Wearing a formal, full-length wedding dress → Pre-Wedding
Not wearing a dress, or wearing everyday/casual attire → Casual Photoshoot
A formal wedding dress with a long train requires extra care during the shoot — managing the train, keeping it clean, protecting it from the wind — which takes more time and attention than a regular clothing shoot. That's why sessions involving a wedding dress are classified as Pre-Wedding.

ショート丈のドレスはカジュアルに含まれます
Short Dresses Can Still Count as Casual
「ドレス＝プレウェディング」と単純に決めているわけではありません。ショート丈のドレスで、撮影中に裾のケアなどを気にせず動けるものであれば、カジュアルフォトの範囲内としてご案内しています。普段のお洋服と同じ感覚で撮影できるドレスであれば、カジュアルプランで十分に対応可能です。
We don't simply treat "wearing any dress" as automatically Pre-Wedding. If you're wearing a short dress that doesn't require any special care during the shoot, that falls within our Casual package. If you can move freely in it just like everyday clothing, the Casual plan works perfectly well.

ドレスの丈や素材によっては、カジュアルプランでも撮影可能な場合があります。ご自身の衣装がどちらに当てはまるか判断に迷う場合は、事前にお写真を送ってご相談いただくとスムーズです。
Depending on the length and material of your dress, it may still qualify for the Casual package. If you're unsure which category your outfit falls into, feel free to send us a photo in advance so we can advise you.
